Dear B.J. Riordan:
This is a notice to let you know my new mailing address.
It is:
Monica King
POB 4096
St. Johnsbury, VT 05819
PLEASE, send me a letter detailing the status of my second Victim Comp claim. I am sure we all would like to lay this one to rest. If not, due to a death in the family over Easter holidays I was delayed in writing my afore mentioned article about my experiences with the Victim Compensation Commission in NH, but will have it press ready this week.
I hate to write about these problems in the public domain, but you leave me no choice when normal modes of communication fail to deliver the just compensations due.
Simply put, the 4,000.00 already deemed alotted within the Commission for medical & travel expenses which need to be sent to ME as executor of my own trust & nonprofit organization & business. AND lost wages to make up a total of 10,000.00.
There is no LEGAL justification for delays. The article will be published on Friday if I do not get the claim settled by then. Again, let me clarify that I am not angry with you. I simply insist you ALL honor Federal Laws which make the delays for this compensation illegal & unconscionable.
I URGE you to become familiar with the Federal Statutes governing Victim Rights & Compensations.
Commissioner Grossi is NOT entitled to my medical records. His job is simply to authorize monies to PAY for them. And the lost wages that resulted from the actions of the SAME criminal as in the first claim your agency granted.
